Cook Time: 35 minutes
Servings: 12

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 pkg Yeast 0.25oz
  • 3 cups GF All Purpose Flour1 with Xanthan Gum added
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 2 Eggs
  • 4 tablespoon Butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon Apple Cider Vinegar

Instructions

  • Activate the Yeast:
Warm the milk until it’s lukewarm (about 100°F to 110°F). Add the sugar to the milk and stir until dissolved. Sprinkle the yeast over the milk and sugar mixture. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes, or until it becomes frothy.
  •  Prepare the Dry Mix:
In a large bowl, whisk together the GF all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder. Ensure they’re well combined.
  • Mixing the Dough:
Pour the activated yeast mixture into the large bowl containing the dry ingredients. Mix gently until they’re combined. Add the melted butter, eggs, and apple cider vinegar. With a hand mixer or stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment: Mix for 3-4 minutes to develop the dough.
  • Proofing the Dough:
Shape the dough into small balls and place them in a baking dish lined with parchment paper or a well-oiled muffin pan. Brush the rolls with an egg wash mixture made by combining 1 egg with 1 teaspoon water and whisking well. Cover the dough balls with plastic wrap. Let them rest in a warm place for about 30-45 minutes or until they’ve expanded in size.
  • Baking:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Once the rolls have risen, bake them in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
